Why does my LinkedIn Member Company report show zero clicks?
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Context
When pulling LinkedIn Member Company (demographic) data via an Adverity datastream, you may notice that the clicks column shows zero values for certain companies — even though the LinkedIn Campaign Manager UI displays non-zero click numbers for those same companies.
Answer
This is expected LinkedIn API behavior, not an error in Adverity. LinkedIn applies the following privacy and data restrictions to company-level demographic data:
Privacy suppression: LinkedIn suppresses any company with fewer than 3 events, so companies below this threshold will not appear in the results.
Result cap: Results are capped at the top 100 companies per creative per day.
Privacy noise: LinkedIn adds a small amount of random noise (±3) to reported values.
Because of these restrictions, exact parity between the Campaign Manager UI and the API is not achievable.
Recommended configuration change
The most impactful fix is to change the datastream's Breakdown setting from Daily to All (accumulated).
When the breakdown is set to Daily, the date range is split into small daily windows. Most companies fall below LinkedIn's suppression threshold within any single day and are therefore dropped — which is why companies like Oracle may show 0 clicks. Setting the breakdown to All (accumulated) queries the full date range at once, allowing more companies to clear the suppression threshold and return non-zero values.
Additional configuration tips
To minimize discrepancies between the LinkedIn UI and your datastream, ensure the fields configured in your datastream match exactly the fields available in the LinkedIn UI report. Including additional or fewer fields than what the UI report contains will query different results from the API. The recommended fields to include when the pivot is set to member_company are:

Need more granular company-level data?
If precise company-level click data is a recurring requirement, LinkedIn's Company Intelligence API is the dedicated surface built for that purpose. However, this is a separate integration with partner/private access and is not part of the current LinkedIn connector in Adverity.
